Alta Laguna ADU

This Alta Laguna hillside was transformed into an 850 square foot ADU. A testament to luxury delivered in a small footprint, this one-bedroom, one-bathroom ADU features unobstructed, panoramic ocean views, a sauna, a bathtub, a small space for exercise equipment, integrated storage on almost every surface, and so much more.
From a steep, inaccessible hillside to a turnkey, beautiful ADU, the project presented several challenges that we successfully navigated. Bringing equipment to the hillside, excavating footings, pouring 14 caissons 20’ below the surface, and forming a series of retaining walls were a few of the many site challenges.
The end result is a contemporary living space with all of the modern luxuries one could need. A place for family to stay, a place for guests to be comfortable, and a sanctuary for the homeowners to spend time.
